Training for EMT’s for 2008

Monthly training for EWEMS employees and volunteers will be held on Saturdays at the Wake County Commons building on Carya Drive.  This will be an all day class and will begin at 9:00 am.  As soon as we have confirmation on the dates they will be added to this notice.

You can also go to Wendell Fire Department the fourth Thursday of each month and you will get the same training that Wake Tech provides EMTs.  Class begins at 7 pm and usually lasts three hours.

There will be postings for each EMS station that provides training at their station, the dates and times if you want to attend their classes.

Wake Tech provides classes on Saturdays throughout the year.  Dates will be provided for you as soon as we get them.

If you attend any classes other than Wake County's call back you will need to get a copy of the roster you sign and put in Claudia's mail box so she can keep up with your training. If you do not provide a copy of the clas you attend you will not get credit.

Please watch for upcoming classes at this site for training coming throughout the year.  Some class information may not be available until the month prior to the class.

If there is a special topic you need, let Claudia know and she will find a class for you.

Note: All training for full time employees is mandated for continued certification. You will be compensated for your time.  Should you have any questiions on this, see Garland.
